Terms of Service
Last updated October 2, 2026
1. Who this applies to
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at frankyao.com (the "Site"), operated by Frank Yao ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or engaging consulting services through it, you agree to these Terms.
2. Services described on the Site
Frank Yao provides AI automation, web development, and SEO consulting services, based in Vancouver, BC, serving clients across North America. Descriptions and case studies on the Site are informational only and do not guarantee a specific result for your business; past results shown for other clients do not predict your outcome.
3. Quotes and proposals are not binding contracts
Any scope, price range, or timeline discussed through the Site, by phone, or by email is preliminary and based on the information available at that time. It is not a binding offer and does not create a contract. A binding engagement exists only once both parties sign a written statement of work or services agreement.
4. Payment terms
Payment terms for a specific engagement are set out in the written statement of work and take precedence over anything stated generally on the Site.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of British Columbia, Frank Yao is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including reliance on general SEO/AI strategy information published on it. Liability for a specific engagement is governed by the written statement of work, not this Site.
6. Intellectual property
All text, images, logos, case studies, and design on the Site belong to Frank Yao or are used under license. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish Site content for commercial purposes without written permission.
7. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites (tools referenced in content, social media, client sites). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
10. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the contact page of this Site.
